Qualifications

  • Active RN license in Indiana
  • 3 years of clinical nursing experience in Critical Care
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Current specialty Board Certification (SCRN, CNRN, CCRN or CEN) preferred or must earn within 2 years
  • CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications

Responsibilities

  • Assists in direct patient care of burn patients, including fluid resuscitation and documentation.
  • Functions as a clinical expert and resource to nursing staff for burn care.
  • Leads education offerings and supports regulatory readiness for units.
  • Coordinates performance improvement activities with leadership and data validation.
  • Maintains knowledge of external and internal quality indicators for burn care.
  • Develops and evaluates quality plans with a multidisciplinary focus.
