The Burn Performance Improvement Coordinator will review every burn admission, outpatient visit, and OR case for the burn center to evaluation opportunities for improvement. Data will be abstracted and entered into the BQIP database and other databases to track trends and collect appropriate data for verification readiness with the American Burn Association. Action plans for improvements will be developed and reviewed with appropriate leadership. All collected data will be presented at a various departmental and hospital committee.
