The primary purpose of a Customer Service Associate is to directly interact with customers and deliver a fast, fun, and friendly experience while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets every customer in a quick and courteous manner.
• Provides a pleasant dining experience and responds to customer inquiries in a timely fashion.
• Handles all customer complaints according to company policies and procedures.
• Develops and maintains product knowledge and provides customers with product recommendations.
• Follows sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
• Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies and ordinances.
• Sustains consistent high quality of food preparation and service.
• Keeps a professional image by maintaining proper uniform and appearance standards.
• Works effectively with others in a positive, supportive and cooperative manner.
• Assists other associates in their duties and helps new associates learn their new job skills.
• Communicates any issues or concerns and presents internal matters to the GM in a timely manner.
• Has general knowledge of all point‑of‑sale equipment.
• Processes customer sales accurately and efficiently.
• Ensures cash drawer levels are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Receives and stocks all merchandise in accordance with company policy.
• Can lift up to 50 pounds following proper lifting procedures.
• Ensures stock is faced up, clean and presentable at all times.
• Applies the FIFO (first in first out) system when receiving or stocking products.
• Removes, records, and quarantines all damaged and/or out‑of‑date stock.
• Follows portion control and preparation quantities to minimize loss.
• Maintains full control of the store and its contents at all times using prevention techniques to minimize loss (e.g., drive offs or retail theft).
• Secures the premises upon end‑of‑day closure following company policies and procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of cleanliness, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning walls, counters, tables, kitchen and service equipment.
• Removes trash, cleans restrooms and parking lot.
• Performs all duties safely and responsibly to protect workers, customers, suppliers, contractors, and the environment.
• Complies with all company safety policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Uses materials handling procedures and equipment to minimize contamination or injury.
• Reports any unsafe practice or condition to management and follows safety initiatives.
