Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager

Join us for the Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager role at GPS Hospitality.

About the Role

We are seeking Restaurant Assistant Managers (RAM) to join our team. Our restaurants are staffed with amazing people, and we are looking to expand our team. The RAM supports the Restaurant General Manager in developing a dedicated team, delivering excellent guest experiences, and achieving top-line sales. This role involves learning, managing, and teaching restaurant systems to meet goals, develop staff, and ensure excellent service. RAMs are eligible for performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding service and guest satisfaction
• Train and coach team members
• Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems for daily restaurant operations
• Implement controls, including cash and inventory management
• Set and achieve goals for service, operations, and financial results
• Maintain operational standards such as speed of service, food safety, and cleanliness
• Manage food and labor variances and take corrective actions
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work all required shifts
• Demonstrate proficiency in restaurant operations and serve as a role model
• Provide feedback and coaching to staff
• Apply problem-solving skills
• Follow all regulations, laws, policies, and controls
• Perform other duties as assigned by the RGM

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching
• Work in warm and cold temperatures
• Stand for 8-10 hours
• Lift up to 20 lbs

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in restaurant or retail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
• ServSafe certification preferred
