Burger King is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead a BK restaurant in Los Angeles. You will supervise the management team, drive profitability, control costs, and foster a positive, safe workplace.

The RGM will manage staffing, scheduling, training, and compliance across shifts, while collaborating with marketing for promotions and ensuring high guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

The RGM leads the restaurant management team and oversees the financial controls, operations, people development, guest service and BKC compliance within the restaurant across all shifts. The RGM directly manages Team Members, Shift Leaders and Assistant Managers.

Primary Duties:

• Supervise all store operations, including sales management, inventory control, merchandising, and cash handling.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing comprehensive employee orientation and ongoing training & development.
• Manage scheduling and shift management to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours and special promotions.
• Oversee purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives to maximize sales and profitability.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and payroll records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Implement effective inventory management practices to prevent stock shortages or overstock situations.
• Lead and motivate by example when managing POS systems, returns, customer inquiries, phone etiquette and customer service standards.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and motivate staff toward continuous improvement.
• Monitor store cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols to create an inviting shopping environment.
• Handle customer complaints promptly with professionalism to uphold the store’s reputation for exceptional service.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional campaigns and merchandising displays that attract customers.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations as well as company policies related to cash handling and security procedures.
• Successfully align store efforts with company goals.

Experience:

• Proven management experience in fast food restaurant environments with a focus on team supervision and sales growth.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll, bookkeeping, inventory management, and cash handling.
• Strong background in restaurant management including POS systems, promotional strategies, food safety and sanitation, and inventory control.
• Experience supervising staff across shifts with excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
• 3-5 Years prior GM or management experience in a fast food restaurant or similar restaurant environment.
• Exceptional communication skills coupled with leadership qualities that inspire teams toward shared success.

Essential Qualifications:
