Role Overview: Quick Service Restaurant Assistant Managers (RGM) support the General Manager in daily operations, manage the location in their absence, and focus on training, coaching, and team performance. Responsibilities include providing friendly guest service, preparing products, maintaining cleanliness, and promoting a positive work environment aligned with company values.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the RGM with managing guest service focus, ensuring guests are greeted warmly and feel appreciated.
  2. Support operational efficiencies including transactions, cleanliness, appearance, and stock levels.
  3. Assist in hiring, training, and coaching new team members.
  4. Help oversee counter, dining, drive-thru, and food safety operations, ensuring consistency in guest experience.
  5. In the RGM's absence, complete reports, manage product orders, and handle banking tasks.
  6. Lead by example, executing company values, programs, and policies.
  7. Coach team members to meet service standards, supervise work, and provide feedback.
  8. Prioritize safety for guests and team members.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned by the RGM.
  10. Be capable of performing essential functions and filling in at any work station with or without accommodations.

Working Relationships: Interact with Restaurant Clerks, Team Members, Shift Leaders, RGM, District Manager, Brand Manager, and other personnel and vendors.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum Education: N/A
  • Preferred Education: High School or GED
  • Minimum Experience: 6 months as Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or equivalent
  • Preferred Experience: 1 year restaurant experience

Licenses & Skills: National Food Safety Certification required within 60 days of employment; valid driver’s license preferred.

Soft Skills:

  • Comfortable interacting with guests and team members
  • High energy and quick adaptability
  • Team-oriented with willingness to assist others
  • Computer skills are a plus

Scheduling & Conditions: Full-time position (30-40 hours) with varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Will primarily work opposite shifts from the RGM. Location hours may vary based on 24-hour operations.

Travel & Physical Requirements: 5% travel for deposits; reliable transportation needed. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for 8 hours, and work in cooler temperatures. Moderate noise level expected.

Other: Must wear specialized attire, slip-resistant footwear, and adhere to brand standards and franchise policies.
