Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services in Cleveland, OH seeks a Bureau Financial Analyst II to manage financial call reporting to WC bureaus and ISO data collectors. You will analyze data calls, document procedures, and coordinate with business segments, claims, finance, and IT to ensure accurate reporting and timely deliverables.

The role requires 2+ years in insurance/finance reporting, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Overview

The Bureau Financial Analyst II is responsible for handling Financial Call reporting to the various WC bureaus and ISO data collection agencies. In addition, facilitate on the quarterly reporting of medical data call, indemnity data call, NCCI assigned risk pool reporting, and Title business. Responsibilities include analyzing and reconciling these data calls and any other related action needed to assure the accuracy of the data. This may require researching the source systems and working with the Bureaus. Analyze and document existing procedures for the financial data call reporting. Manage work assignments independently and meet prescribed target dates with quality deliverables. Interaction with the Business Segments, claims, financial, Unit Stats and IT functions. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust’s mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.

Responsibilities

• Complies and reports data in accordance with governing regulatory agencies and/or independent state bureaus and company procedures by reviewing financial records and other relevant materials. Assists in handling and clearing bureau inquiries
• Identifies, researches, and corrects policy-rating or claims coding discovered during the data reporting process. Works to resolve reporting discrepancies and disputes of the highest complexity.
• Point of contact for assigned data calls and communicates collaboratively with bureaus, underwriters, and claim adjusters.
• Keeps current with market trends and demands.
• Performs other functionally related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years’ experience reporting of insurance, finance, or banking

• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational, analytical, customer service and interpretive skills.
• Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
