Sunoco LP seeks a Bunker Trader to drive profitability across spot and contract bunker trading. You will own the full trade lifecycle from engagement to execution, shaping pricing strategy and expanding commercial opportunities.

The role requires a finance/business or maritime background, 2+ years in bunker trading, strong Excel skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment with frequent interactions across Commercial, Operations, Credit and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Maritime or related discipline.
• Minimum 2+ years of bunker trading or marine fuels experience.
• Strong understanding of marine fuel markets, pricing structures and port operations.
• Proficient in Excel and market intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary commercial interface for spot and contract bunker trading activity.
• Own P&L generation through margin optimization, pricing strategy, and deal execution.
• Manage daily market pricing, quoting, and commercial negotiations with customers.
• Deliver revenue and margin growth aligned with commercial strategy.
• Expand customer wallet share and improve retention across assigned accounts.
