Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications.
• Move throughout a construction jobsite including ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozer safely and efficiently.
• Cut ditches, slopes, grades, clear brush, shape and dress slopes.
• Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.
• Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate loading of dirt and other materials.
• Take actions to avoid hazards and obstructions such as utility lines and workers.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment (oiling, greasing).
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
