The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and three+ years of related construction experience, with a strong emphasis on safety and physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• English communication is required for verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to move throughout a construction site and lift up to 50 pounds.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozer safely and efficiently.
• Cut ditches, slopes, grades, clear brush, shape, and dress slopes.
• Start engines, manage throttles, switches, levers, and pedals to operate machines.
• Signal truck driver to position truck for loading dirt, rocks, and other materials.
• Take actions to avoid hazards and obstructions such as utilities, equipment, workers, and falling objects.
• Perform maintenance on equipment including oiling and greasing.
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
