Job summary

Branch Civil is seeking an experienced Bulldozer Operator to join our safety-focused team in Goldsboro, NC. The operator will drive a bulldozer to excavate, grade and move earth, supporting site teams with precise earthworks.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of bulldozer experience, a working knowledge of OSHA regulations, and the ability to read grade stakes and follow hand signals. DOT experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction techniques.
• 1 to 3 years of bulldozer operating experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• DOT experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Fastens attachments to tractor.
• Connects hydraulic hoses, belts, mechanical linkage or power takeoff shaft to tractor to provide power to raise, lower or tilt attachment.
• Operates controls to manipulate tool bars, carriers and disks.
• Operates controls to maneuver tractor and raise, lower and tilt attachments to clear right-of-way.
• Listens for stalling action of engine to estimate depth of cut.
• Operates bulldozer in successive passes to raise or lower terrain to specified grade following markings on grade stakes or hand signals.
• May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
