Job summary

CWR Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Bulldozer Operator for our local road construction operations. You will operate bulldozers to excavate, grade, and move materials, and read grade stakes to ensure precise grading.

The role requires 2+ years of experience and a valid Florida driver’s license. Daily inspections, safety compliance, and capability to work days, nights, or weekends are essential. We offer competitive salaries and fringe benefits and expect you to pass drug testing and a background

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of bulldozer operation experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and be able to pass background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozer to excavate, grade, level, and move soils, rock, asphalt, and other materials for roadway construction.
• Read and interpret grade stakes, plans, and slope indicators to achieve precise grading.
• Perform rough and finish grading for road subgrades, shoulders, ditches, and embankments.
• Assist in roadbed preparation, drainage installation, and slope stabilization.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance (lubrication, fueling, cleaning).
• Identify mechanical issues and report needed repairs to supervisors.
• Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, including assisting with other equipment or labor tasks as needed.
