Job summary

CWR Contracting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Bulldozer Operator to support local road construction projects in Florida. You will operate the bulldozer to excavate, grade, and move materials, reading stakes and plans to achieve precise grading.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of bulldozer operation experience.
• Valid Florida driver’s license; MVR check and drug testing may be required.
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozer to excavate, grade, level, and move soil, rock, asphalt, and other materials for roadway construction projects.
• Read and interpret grade stakes, plans, and slope indicators to achieve precise grading.
• Perform rough and finish grading for road subgrades, shoulders, ditches, and embankments.
• Assist in roadbed preparation, drainage installation, and slope stabilization.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance (lubrication, fueling, cleaning).
• Identify mechanical issues and report needed repairs to supervisors.
• Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
