Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services seeks a Truck Loader in Ligonier, IN. The role operates on a 6pm-6am rotating shift, with training on days for a few weeks before transitioning to the standard schedule.

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, rising to $19.00 per hour after successful completion of training. Candidates must lift up to 50 pounds and be willing to work weekends and various duties across shipping, maintenance, and packing tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work all shifts including weekends.
• Ability to climb stairs and access bulk trailers.
• Ability to perform general cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load and seal outbound trailers with finished product.
• Load and seal inbound and outbound railcars.
• Load Midds trailers and complete shipping paperwork.
• Load trucks to maximum legal weight requirements.
• Assist the Shift Miller with daily operations as needed.
• Support packing operations when required.
• Complete assigned cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks including weekly mezzanine cleaning.
• Help maintain equipment and company property in good condition.
• Follow shipping schedules to ensure on time deliveries.
• Identify and suggest improvements to facility operations and systems.
• Observe and report any unusual site security activity.
• Check diesel fuel levels in the track mobile and yard tractor at the end of each shift.
