Job summary

US Rail & Logistics is seeking a Transload Operator to perform hands-on terminal operations, including loading and unloading railcars, loading silos and trucks, and maintaining equipment. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and accurate terminal reporting as part of a small cross-functional team.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 100 lbs, stand for long periods, and operate forklifts or related machinery while following all safety

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work around moving equipment.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights in all weather conditions.
• Hazmat experience/certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company safety rules and perform duties safely.
• Load bulk unit trucks with legal weights and proper product.
• Unload/load railcars and transfer product to silos or trucks.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep terminal clean and presentable.
• Record receipts, shipments and inventory according to guidelines.
• Assist at other Terminal locations as required.
• Provide training support to new employees.
• Operate equipment safely, including forklifts, conveyors, and cranes.
• Refer customer complaints to Manager or Customer Service.
