Job summary

Road & Rail Services is hiring a safety-focused Transfer Operator for our Indianapolis, IN day shift. You will outdoors transfer bulk materials between railcars and tank trucks, using pumps, hoses, and valves, and prepare products for transfer by heating, sparging, or sampling.

You will climb railcars, work at heights, and wear hazmat PPE as needed, while helping with yard and building maintenance to keep operations efficient. A strong emphasis on safety and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Transfer bulk materials between railcars and tank trucks using pumps, hoses and valves.
• Prepare products for transfer by heating, sparging, or sampling.
• Climb railcars, work at heights, and wear hazmat PPE as required.
• Assist with yard and building maintenance to keep the site operational.
