Job summary

Cemex US in Colorado is seeking a proactive Terminal Operator to join our team. You will be the backbone of terminal operations, ensuring bulk materials are handled, loaded, and shipped safely and efficiently while maintaining equipment and following safety standards.

In this role you will drive operational efficiency, oversee material flow, perform routine inspections, uphold PPE and OSHA rules, assist customers, collaborate with logistics, and mentor newer team members as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; welding, electrical, or maintenance training a plus.
• Experience in terminal operations or similar industrial setting preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with safety awareness and the ability to work with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational efficiency: manage and optimize daily terminal operations for seamless logistics and customer service.
• Oversee safe loading/unloading of bulk materials following safety protocols.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on terminal equipment.
• Uphold safety standards, PPE use, and OSHA compliance.
• Serve as a key contact for customers, resolving inquiries professionally.
• Collaborate with logistics to optimize schedules and resources.
• Mentor and develop new team members to enhance performance.
