Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a terminal operations associate responsible for safe loading and unloading of bulk products to/from vessels, tanks, railcars, and trucks.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment for loading/unloading at terminals (vessels, tanks, railcars, trucks).
  • Assist with railcar, truck, warehousing and vessel operations training.
  • Transfer bulk products safely and efficiently between assets.
  • Report equipment abnormalities to supervisor.
  • Maintain housekeeping and general maintenance of equipment and areas.
  • Keep equipment/tools in good condition and updated.

Job description

What We Are Looking For

Responsible for the safe, efficient and quality-conscious unloading and loading of bulk products to or from vessels, tanks, railcars, and trucks.

Able to operate front end loaders, skidsteer,forklift,dozer, excavator and other small equipment. Assure the work being performed consistently meets

What You Will Do

A position assigned specific duties under periodic supervision by the supervisor. May be assigned to general duties in all areas of operations of the terminals including:

Extensive training in railcar, truck, warehousing, vessel operations, safety and environmental training as required.

The safe and efficient transfer of bulk products to or from vessels, tanks, railcars and trucks.

Reporting to supervisor of equipment abnormalities of failures.

Housekeeping and general maintenance as required.

Upkeep of assigned equipment or tools.

Perform any other type of terminal function as trained and as instructed by the supervisor

Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds - (High Physical Demand Level

Must meet and maintain certification for use of respiratory protective equipment as required by OSHA 1910.134

Must be able to secure and maintain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWICS) card

Must be able to secure and maintain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWICS) card

Demonstrated aptitude to execute customer orders and maintain necessary records

Must have the ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.

Pay Range

USD $21.86 - USD $27.60 /Hr.
