Job summary

Keefe Group, a division of TKC Holdings, is seeking a warehouse associate in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:45pm, with overtime as needed.

You will handle inbound receiving, order picking for commissary, and loading using forklifts, while leveraging WMS and scan technology to ensure accuracy. We offer daily pay options and regular pay increases based on performance, with benefits starting from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and become forklift certified.
• Familiar with computers; experience with WMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, put away, and move product in inbound operations.
• Select and prepare items for customer orders in the commissary team.
• Build, stage, and load pallet orders with forklifts and MHE.
• Load deliveries and manage inventory in a dynamic setting.
• Utilize mobile scanners and WMS to fulfill orders and maintain accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and participate in cross-training.

About This Position

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:00am - 3:45pm (Must be able to work overtime if needed)

Developing teams and building careers are central to our success. As such, we have an opportunity to perform warehouse tasks from receiving product, preparing customer orders and shipping products to our clients. This is a full-time position, with some benefits starting from day one.

We expect our team to execute a number of processes and therefore believe in cross-training our team across the distribution departments. In addition, you can specialize in a specific area. The facility is a fully operational warehouse servicing multiple business lines, with opportunities to:

• Unload, receive and put away product as part of the Inbound Operations team
• Selecting product for individual customer orders as part of our Commissary (KCN) team
• Building, staging, and loading pallet orders on modern forklifts and material handling equipment (MHE) in support of our Bulk team
• Load third party and internal delivery trucks
• Manage inventory in a dynamic environment, to include counting product and correcting inventory
• Leverage technology and learn WMS systems to deliver orders through the use of: mobile scan guns, modern material handling equipment, computers, tablets and more
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace
• Experience with operating an electric pallet jack or forklift is preferred
• Other duties as determined by the needs of the business

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work well with others in a dynamic, changing work environment.
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
• Ability to become forklift and material handling equipment certified.
• Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred.
