Main Duties / Responsibilities

This position reports to the District Manager. The Bulk Plant Operator will be responsible for operations in blending and loading cement, chemicals (Cement or Bulk), and/or acid needed to perform each Pumping Services job.

This position reports to the District Manager. The Bulk Plant Operator will be responsible for operations in blending and loading cement, chemicals (Cement or Bulk), and/or acid needed to perform each Pumping Services job.

Critical Tasks / Performance Goals

• Live and model the Crew Resource Management culture.
• Carry out daily operations in the Bulk Plant, including loading cement and additives, plant housekeeping, inventory management, and sample storage and tracking.
• Review job proposals or call sheets to understand the job details and prepare for blending.
• Calculate, pour, measure, and weigh chemicals, cement, and acid blends.
• Monitor pneumatic pressure of tanks and control flow during blending and loading.
• Participate in loading blended cement/chemicals/acid into trucks, retaining samples for backup or testing.
• Load and unload orders using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Assist with driving Bulk Trucks as needed.
• Maintain inventory records of chemicals, cement, and acid.
• Ensure accurate paperwork and records are submitted and maintained.
• Maintain safety standards at all times and report hazards immediately.
• Attend weekly safety meetings.
• Understand and implement operational and technical standards.
• Use assertive communication with supervisors, including stop work authority.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Qualifications

Experience

• 2+ years in Bulk Plant/Operations.
• Valid Driver's License.

Work Environment / Physical Abilities

Exposure to moving parts, weather, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, vibration, and noise. Use of PPE required. Physical activities include standing, sitting, walking, lifting up to 65 lbs for males and 45 lbs for females, climbing, stooping, and visual tasks.
