Job summary

Melaleuca Inc. in Idaho Falls (or Eastern Idaho) is seeking a manufacturing associate to weigh out and process bulk product in a climate-controlled environment. The role requires operating a standup forklift, adhering to safety policies, and maintaining clean, compliant production lines.

You will use Excel, Word, email and production software, train new staff, and participate in safety programs. This position offers a supportive culture with longevity bonuses and opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent
• Ability to learn and operate forklift safely
• Must read and follow directions and document processes
• Strong math and measurement skills (to 1/1000th)
• Good communication abilities and teamwork
• Willing to work overtime and weekends

Responsibilities

• Weighting and processing bulk product per SOPs and regulations
• Operate forklift safely in a high-traffic, tight-space environment
• Maintain sanitation using cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Follow safety policies (FDA, FSMA, HACCP, GMP, OSHA) and PPE
• Assist in training new employees and inventory control
• Support continuous improvement and plant safety programs
