Job summary

ECOLAB in Joliet, IL seeks a Bulk Business Associate Logistics Manager who will coordinate plant loading, carriers, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery and high service standards. You will link customers, sales, logistics, and manufacturing while driving cost efficiency and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree with supervisory experience and strong financial data analysis skills. Familiarity with SAP or TMS and bulk chemical transport is preferred.

• Ability to collect & analyze financial data; strong metrics & systems orientation; the ability to evaluate cost improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Own on-time delivery performance by coordinating plant loading, carrier execution, and schedule adherence.
• Manage performance and execution of 3rd party manufacturers and carriers where necessary.
• Lead daily bulk logistics operations with accountability for safety compliance and incident prevention.
• Ensure clear, timely communication and visibility across field partners to minimize customer impact.
• Build and manage the weekly execution plan, aligning with manufacturing output and route optimization.
• Use DIFOT, returns, utilization, and cost data to identify savings and drive cost efficiency.
• Partner with analytics resources to translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Support network strategy by aligning daily operations with capacity, sourcing, and service model evolution.
• Identify constraints and drive continuous improvement for long-term network performance.
• Monitor production capacity and loading throughput to match output with logistics execution.
• Address constraints to maximize volume flow and protect service and cost performance.
