Qualifications

• Judge distances and slopes accurately and make decisions based on verifiable standards.
• Stoop, bend, and crouch.
• Use hands, arms, and legs fully.
• See well, either naturally or with correction.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in a drug‑free workplace and pass pre‑hire drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate a straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type loader with a front-mounted hydraulic bucket or scoop.
• Lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas.
• Feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes and load trucks.
• Start engine, shift gears, press pedals, and steer the loader.
• Lower, tilt, raise, and dump the bucket to move bulk material.
• Perform routine loader maintenance, including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
