Job summary

Land O’Lakes is seeking a Bulk Loader to support Omnium manufacturing operations. You will safely load/unload bulk tankers, offload railcars, and manage inventory to ensure product integrity. Collaboration with lab, formulation, and production teams is essential to meet quality standards and schedules.

The role demands reading and following detailed instructions, basic math, and strong teamwork. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varied temperature zones.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year or more of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload bulk tankers in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements.
• Offload, position, and move railcars to support production and shipping needs.
• Manage and monitor bulk tank inventory to ensure accurate product levels and material integrity.
• Coordinate closely with the Lab, Formulation, and Production teams to ensure products meet quality specifications prior to transfer or shipment.
• Follow all safety processes and actively promote safe work practices for yourself and others.
• Ensure all quality standards and SOPs are followed during bulk handling and transfer operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bulk loading, unloading, and storage areas.
• Demonstrate strong attendance, adaptability, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with Leads and Management to complete daily work assignments and support overall plant operations.
