Job summary

Torrey Holistics is hiring a Bulk Formulation Blender/Compounder to support liquid fill operations for personal care and OTC products. The role emphasizes precise measurement, following batch records, and maintaining quality through careful execution.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 months of blending/compounding experience; OTC/personal care industry experience is preferred. On-site interview and forklift safety awareness are part of the process.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 1–3 months of compounding/blending experience is required; 1–2 years in OTC/personal care is preferred.
  • Process-oriented manufacturing experience is valued.
  • Comfort with spreadsheets, email, and inventory/manufacturing systems is expected.
  • Must be able to pass a Respirator Fit Test and be clean-shaven for the test.
  • Available for an in-person, on-site interview.

Responsibilities

  • Follow batch records and designated sequences to produce liquid batches for filling.
  • Verify pre-weighed ingredients and confirm lot accuracy.
  • Weigh, measure, and blend liquids, solids, and powders using agitators.
  • Use scales and thermometers to check batch parameters and document results.
  • Maintain product quality, purity, and consistency through careful execution.
  • Keep the area organized and move materials safely with a forklift if needed.
  • Read and interpret safety rules, SOPs, and maintenance/operating instructions.
  • Create routine written reports and communicate findings clearly.
  • Perform arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals to validate formulas and yields.
  • Troubleshoot standard processing issues using practical judgment and follow-through.
