Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bulk Clerk to maintain, pack, stock and present bulk foods with accuracy and care. You will wrap and price bulk items, rotate by date codes, and uphold sanitation standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates are 16+ years old, flexible with shifts, reliable, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. This role supports the Bulk Manager and helps keep the department clean and well merchandised.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes, including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show a mutual respect for others, maintain a high-level code of ethics within Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
• Have good communication skills; and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
• Be able to perform repetitious activities, and can multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., from 4” to 36”, up to 4 feet for up to 15 hours without mechanical assistance.
• Adhere to all safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Be able to perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, packs, and stocks bulk foods.
• Prepares, wraps, and prices bulk packages.
• Rotates product using date codes and keeps the Bulk area clean.
• Provides high level customer service and ensures Bulk items are well presented.
• Assists Bulk Manager as needed and maintains equipment in safe working condition.
• Receives, unloads, and stocks merchandise as needed.
