Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring a Bulk Driver in Augusta, GA. You will operate a CDL A Bulk Tanker, deliver products to local customers on a scheduled route, and perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance.

The position offers pay of $28.87/hr with overtime after 40 hours, plus safety, per diem, and referral bonuses, along with comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with match and early access to benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with at least 2 years CMV experience; tanker/HazMat endorsements required before hire date.
• Graduation from an accredited truck driving school counts as 1 year of experience.
• No preventable accidents in last 3 years.
• No more than 2 minor tickets in last 3 years.
• No serious violations in last 3 years.
• No CDL suspensions in last 3 years except for child support.
• Must lift 60 lbs or more.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to local customers on a scheduled route or intermittently.
• Record deliveries and pickups on load manifests; obtain signatures.
• Address service inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Load/unload truck and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Maintain vehicle and personal appearance; ensure safety compliance.

We are looking for you!

• Pay:$28.87/hr, overtime after 40 hrs

• Schedule: Monday-Friday (early morning start times) some weekends required

• Safety Bonus Pay: potential earnings up to $2000/yr

• Per Diem Pay- potential earnings up to $1000-$1500/yr

• Referral Bonus Pay- $1000

The Bulk Driver will deliver products to local customers on a scheduled route or intermittently. Records deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest and obtains signatures from customers for receipt purposes. Listens to and resolves service inquiries and complaints. Engage in loading/unloading truck procedures. Performs pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting deficiencies, and ensures all safety items are in good working order. Maintains neat, clean, and professional personal appearance and maintains vehicle appearance in a professional manner.

• Safely perform SOPs specifically related to the handling of Anhydrous

• Communicate in person with customers regarding any SOPs

• Maintain load manifests and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are correctly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries

• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed

• Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets

• Must be able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending is also required.

• Some overnight stays may be required on a limited basis.

• Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet equipped with driver-friendly technology such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, and the latest camera technology.

Are you a MATCH?

• At least 25 years old

• Class A CDL with at least 2 years' CMV experience ' experience must be within the last 4 years, and tanker/hazmat endorsements are required before the hire date

• Graduation from an accredited truck driving school with a diploma will count as 1 year of the required experience

• No preventable accidents of any kind in the last 3 years

• No more than 2 minor tickets in the previous 3 years

• No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc.) in the previous 3 years

• No suspensions of CDL in the previous 3 years except for "Failure to pay child support."

• No DUI in the last 7 years

• Must be able to lift 60 lbs. or more

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Tanker Experience Preferred
