Position Summary:

Our Bobtail Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering various types of propane cylinders for both residential and commercial customers. You will also provide outstanding customer service and adhere to industry safety standards.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

1. Provide safe, punctual, consistent, and reliable bulk and cylinder deliveries daily.
2. Participate in and complete all required industry compliance and company training.
3. Provide courteous and efficient customer service.
4. Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections.
5. Work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
6. Lift and carry over 55 pounds regularly and perform bending, climbing, reaching, and rotating as needed.
7. Drag 175 ft hose through all terrains.

Required Skills:

1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2. 1+ years of Class A or B CDL experience.
3. Valid CDL license with Hazardous Materials (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) endorsements or (X) combination. No Air Brake (L) or (Z) restrictions.
4. Current DOT Medical Card.
5. Clean and safe driving record in full compliance with DOT licensing requirements.

Preferred Skills:

1. Crane operation experience.
2. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
3. Basic troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
4. Previous bobtail delivery experience with propane, fuel oil, or other hazardous materials.
5. Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Detail-oriented self-starter capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
