Job summary

Airgas Horsham, PA is seeking a Bulk Project Engineer to lead design, installation, repair and troubleshooting of bulk and cryogenic systems. You will provide technical support to field service teams, coordinate with FSCs on equipment needs, and ensure projects meet safety, BIM and regulatory standards while delivering on time and budget.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, strong project coordination, and hands-on experience with bulk gas applications and P&ID development.

Qualifications

BS Engineering degree is essential; in lieu of degree, up to 5 years related experience may be considered.
5 years in a merchant/packaged gas project coordinator or technician role; cross-functional experience preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and guide projects.

Responsibilities

Lead design, installation, repair and troubleshooting for bulk and cryogenic systems.
Provide technical support to field service technicians and Bulk Specialists on installations and major repairs.
Communicate safety culture for Bulk Operations Team and support region-wide safety policies.
Coordinate with Field Service Coordinators to track ordering and shipment of equipment for complex projects.
Develop P&IDs, equipment layout drawings, and perform basic process calculations (pressure, flow, temperature).
Ensure designs meet BIM, safety, and regulatory guidelines and customer needs.
