Job summary

IV Labs Inc in Christiansburg, VA is seeking a Bulk Manufacturing Technician to oversee the manufacture of IV stock concentrates and manage bulk materials for stock and custom products. The role requires proper handling of starting materials, adherence to established procedures, and collaboration with R&D and QC teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field required.
• Minimum of one year in production at Inorganic Ventures or related experience.
• Knowledge of the periodic table, lab safety practices, and laboratory equipment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels tactfully and work both independently and in a team.
• Keen attention to detail and good judgment.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
• Analytical ability and strong operational focus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established bulk manufacturing procedures to make single element concentrates and stock blends.
• Purify starting materials as needed before manufacturing bulk concentrates.
• Perform reactions to produce in-house bulk concentrates according to procedures.
• Collaborate with Chemistry and Development teams to source new starting materials when required.
• Coordinate with Inventory to ensure stock levels are at or below reorder points.
• Maintain a clean, contamination-free lab environment and proper disposal of waste.
