Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of infrastructure deployment, systems engineering, or build engineering in MSP/IT services.
• Proficiency with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Scripting with Python, PowerShell; automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
• Solid networking, storage, and security fundamentals.
• Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy laptops, workstations, servers, network gear, VMs, and cloud resources to client specs.
• Design and build custom IT environments meeting client needs and best practices.
• Set up systems for scalability, performance, and security using virtualization and cloud tech.
• Develop automation scripts/workflows to streamline builds and reduce manual effort.
• Use configuration management tools to automate deployments and maintain consistency.
• Review and optimize scripts/automation to align with evolving tech.
• Test new builds for performance, security, and functionality.
