Job summary

STV is seeking an enthusiastic Buildings Engineering Intern to join our team in a hybrid position requiring at least 3 days in the office. This internship welcomes undergraduate and graduate candidates, with preference for a minimum 3-month commitment and full-time availability.

You will assist senior engineers, develop drawings in Revit and AutoCAD, and help prepare design-related reports and documentation while coordinating with cross-functional teams across projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor s or master s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD software.
• Knowledge of design codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations for buildings and structures under supervision of senior engineers.
• Develop structural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Support design reports and documentation; review shop drawings for compliance and learning.
• Coordinate project requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
• Assist with technical documentation and presentations; participate in site visits.

STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Buildings Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months and can work full-time.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing design calculations for buildings and other structures under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Develop structural and other drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software packages.
• Support the production of design-related reports and documentation.
• Review shop drawings and other construction submittals for learning purposes and initial compliance checks.
• Help coordinate project requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
• Assist with the preparation of technical documentation and presentations.
• Participate in site visits to gather information and support project implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project success.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support project goals and team objectives.

Required

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation Range:

$47,959.00 - $54,498.00
