Job summary

STV is seeking an enthusiastic Buildings Intern to join our team in a hybrid in-office role in the United States. This internship welcomes undergrad and graduate students eager to learn and contribute to meaningful projects within our buildings practice.

You will assist in design calculations, develop drawings using Revit and AutoCAD, review shop drawings, coordinate schedules, and participate in site visits under the guidance of senior engineers to support project success.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
• Preference for Revit and AutoCAD experience, knowledge of design codes and standards.

• Assist in preparing design calculations for buildings and other structures under supervision.
• Develop structural and other drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Support the production of design-related reports and documentation.
• Review shop drawings and other construction submittals for learning purposes and initial compliance checks.
• Help coordinate project requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
• Assist with the preparation of technical documentation and presentations.
• Participate in site visits to gather information and support project implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project success.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support project goals and team objectives.

This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months and can work full-time.

Compensation Range

$47,959.00 - $54,498.00
