Job summary

STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Buildings Intern to join our team in Philadelphia. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects.

This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office and preference for at least 3 months, with potential for full-time work. Responsibilities include assisting with design calculations, developing drawings in Revit

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing design calculations for buildings and other structures under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Develop structural and other drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software packages.
• Support the production of design-related reports and documentation.
• Review shop drawings and other construction submittals for learning purposes and initial compliance checks.
• Help coordinate project requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
• Assist with the preparation of technical documentation and presentations.
• Participate in site visits to gather information and support project implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project success.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support project goals and team objectives.

Compensation Range:

$47,959.00 - $54,498.00
