Job summary

Garver’s Buildings Team in Kansas City invites motivated electrical or architectural engineering students to join as an Electrical Engineering Intern. The role emphasizes mentoring by senior professionals and hands-on work with building power, lighting, and communications systems.

You will engage with Garver Launch activities and gain exposure to professional development, wellness, and volunteer opportunities in a collaborative office setting downtown.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing an electrical engineering degree or an architectural engineering degree with an electrical focus from an ABET accredited program.
• Strong desire to pursue a career in building systems engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside and be mentored by experienced building design professionals and industry leaders.
• Learn about building power, lighting, and communications systems.
• Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry.
