Location:
Medical Center - Fort WorthThe Building Utility Engineer I will operate, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment controls on equipment, utility, and distribution systems. These include, but are not limited to, domestic water, steam, chilled/hot water systems, HVAC, electrical distribution systems, emergency power systems, vertical lift systems, medical gas and vacuum systems, pneumatic tube systems, and building automation.
High School Diploma or GED with 8+ years of experience.
Technical or College education considered in place of years of experience.
Work towards obtaining expert status on at least two systems and obtain a State License in a related field is preferred.
Skills in Healthcare/Commercial Maintenance, Building Automation, Plumbing, Electrical, Emergency Power systems, and Computer knowledge are required.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and make necessary repairs of systems and equipment.
Experience with Pneumatic tube systems, Medical Gas, Building Automation, and AutoCAD is preferred.
Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and customers through good service skills and effective communication.
Universal EPA certification is preferred. City/State license in a related field is also preferred. Healthcare experience is advantageous.
