JOB SUMMARY
The Network Engineer I is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operation of computer networks for Marshfield Clinic Health System. This individuals primary duties include maintenance and administration of network hardware, software and other related components.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or Associate Degree in an Information Technology field and two years of relevant work experience or four years of relevant work experience and a current industry or technology certification.
The experience indicated above must be in networking in an enterprise environment for one or more of the following technologies:
Preferred/Optional: Experience with Palo Alto or Cisco Firewalls and Network Load Balancers.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: Vendor certifications may be required. Applicable state valid driver’s licenses with an acceptable driving record.
