The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through various services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
The employee leads work and oversees the work of lower-level tradespeople. They assist the supervisor in work assignment, quality oversight, job estimation, and production monitoring. The employee performs a full range of assignments for projects on state properties related to maintenance, construction, and remodeling. They use a wide range of power tools and equipment appropriate to the work. The employee provides customer service with courtesy, respect, and attention to detail, works cooperatively with staff, and ensures all staff are customer service oriented, demonstrating a positive and helpful attitude toward projects and daily interactions.
