Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Building Technician to support one of our teams by performing operating and maintenance tasks for one or more assigned properties. This role acts as the onsite facilities maintenance expert handling HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in commercial or institutional buildings, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license to travel between properties and respond to after-hours calls.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in commercial or institutional buildings with complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• High School diploma or equivalent; completion of a building trades curriculum at a recognized technical school is desirable.
• Valid state driver's license to travel to adjacent properties or respond to after-hours trouble calls.
• Experience with Building Automation System (WebCTRL).
• Central Plant, Rooftop HVAC Units, and VAV systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform operating and maintenance tasks on assigned properties.
• Serve as onsite facilities maintenance expert for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general repairs.
• Respond to after-hours trouble calls as needed.
• Travel to adjacent properties as required.
