Job summary

CBRE Maintenance Technician in San Diego, CA will maintain small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment, performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure reliable operations.

You will support energy management, inspect installations for safety and building codes, work under supervision, and collaborate with facilities teams to deliver efficient service.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads and meet physical requirements.
• Good customer relationships and strong organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical components.
• Assist with installation and modification of equipment and systems.
• Conduct building walk arounds to understand portfolio layouts and functions.
• Investigate faults and implement remedies; ensure safety compliance.
• Review work orders and track completion with teams and systems.
• Support energy management by keeping systems operating efficiently.
• Exchange information clearly and follow defined procedures.
