CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service small to mid-size buildings and industrial systems, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and related equipment.

You will inspect installations for safety and code compliance, diagnose issues, and execute repairs while following established procedures under supervision. The role emphasizes reliability, energy efficiency, and steady, hands-on learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for code and safety compliance.
• Use defined procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Impact team through defined duties and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver output by following procedures under supervision and guidance.
