Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Building Engineer in San Antonio to oversee operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for assigned properties. You will perform rounds, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure safe, efficient facilities.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience, relevant trade licenses, and knowledge of energy management. You will work across HVAC, pumps, and building automation while maintaining regulatory compliance and safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.
• Requires appropriate trade license or permit as may be required.
• Experience with energy management systems and building automation beneficial.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs as per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment and cooling systems (air and/or water cooled).
• Monitor and adjust mechanical equipment to maintain comfortable environments.
• Inspect and repair doors, ceilings, floors, and related components.
• Perform preventive maintenance per standards and safety guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies and report activities to supervisor.
