Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Greenville, SC or Atlanta, GA is seeking a Building Mechanical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will work on HVAC and building mechanical systems as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You must be pursuing a Mechanical or Architectural Engineering degree, have completed at least two years of coursework, and be a U.S. citizen. Familiarity with Revit or similar 3D software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program for Mechanical or Architectural Engineering or another closely related field
• Completion of at least 2 years of collegiate coursework
• Interest in designing building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping utilities, for buildings and facilities.
• Familiarity with Revit or other 3D software

Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of analysis and design for Jacobs projects
• Support teams on critical projects with mentorship from engineers and designers
• Gain exposure to project coordination and design software across disciplines
• Collaborate with Mechanical Lead, Project Managers, and Professional Engineers
