Job summary

Energy Solutions is seeking a Building Systems Engineer / Project Engineer to support design-build delivery and coordination of building mechanical systems for commercial and educational projects. Location: Mays Landing, NJ. Pay range: $105,000–$150,000.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 5–10 years of building systems experience, with HVAC expertise and BIM tools proficiency. PE license preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Systems Engineering; PE license preferred or obtainable within a reasonable timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support design and development of building mechanical systems (HVAC, hydronics, ventilation).
• Perform HVAC load calculations and equipment selection; perform system integration and coordination.
• Coordinate across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and structural disciplines to deliver cohesive designs.
• Prepare design documents, calculations, and specs for HVAC, hydronic, and related systems.
• Support design-build execution from concept to startup and commissioning.
