Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer in Las Vegas to operate and maintain all heating, ventilating, and refrigeration equipment on-site. The role includes repairing boilers, pumps, compressors, gas lines, and electrical systems to ensure continuous, safe operation.

Responsibilities cover preventive maintenance, seasonal recalibration, and supporting life/safety systems as needed. The position pays $34 an hour and is expected to contribute to reliable energy-efficient building performance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining large building systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot boilers, pumps, HVAC controls, and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair boilers, heaters, pumps, valves and lines for steam and hot water distribution.
• Operate, maintain and repair refrigerant compressors, condensers, evaporators, traps, pumps and valves for temperature control.
• Operate, maintain and repair pumps and lines handling brines or secondary refrigerants.
• Operate, maintain and repair air compressors and distribution lines for air control.
• Operate, maintain and repair gas distribution lines and control devices.
• Maintain water filters, piping and pumps for water distribution systems including sinks and toilets.
• Maintain and repair electrical motors and engines powering pumps, compressors and fans.
• Maintain and repair fuel oil systems including pumps, lines and tanks.
• Maintain and repair sanitary sewer systems including sump pumps and piping.
• Maintain and repair trash compactors and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain electrical power distribution and lighting and other building systems.
• Ensure proper operation during seasonal changes and recalibrate controls for energy efficiency.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance per schedule and follow manufacturer specifications.
• Support life/safety and security systems as applicable.
• Perform other duties as requested by Building Management.
