An established industry player seeks a dedicated Building Specialist to oversee multiple properties. The Building Specialist is responsible for multiple company-owned properties. This involves handling tasks such as grounds cleanup, maintenance, electrical and plumbing systems, mechanical systems, and ensuring overall facility cleanliness.
Our onsite Building Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operation of multiple properties. To ensure that the property and grounds are well maintained, the Building Specialist routinely inspects the grounds, facilities, and equipment to determine whether inspections, maintenance, or repairs are needed. They handle and resolve minor internal requests for repairs. This individual must prioritize effectively, managing numerous tasks and responsibilities on a time-sensitive basis. Individuals who are resourceful, adaptable, and energetic will find this position challenging and rewarding.
Industry: This position is part of our Administration division, which supports multiple operating divisions that serve a nationwide customer base in industries ranging from residential communities to the financial industry to the medical field.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Experience: Two to three years of previous experience as a commercial property maintenance specialist or a similar role. Must have a valid driver's license and a clear motor vehicle record.
Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.

Technical Skills: Candidates must have some general office skills, including with Microsoft-based operating systems, Internet tools, telephone systems and software, and other common tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
