Job summary

Cedarbrook Senior Living in Michigan is seeking a Building Services Technician to maintain and repair facilities across the community. You will handle routine maintenance, assist with preventative tasks, and support safety and housekeeping functions to keep residents comfortable and safe.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and basic technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic technical knowledge and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Basic knowledge of construction principles.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on grounds, buildings, and equipment.
• Assists in executing preventative maintenance programs.
• Advises Supervisor on equipment and furnishings condition.
• Assists with Fire Safety and disaster preparedness evacuation procedures.
• Assists with housekeeping services.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, and equipment in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Assists in the execution of preventative maintenance program.
• Advises Supervisor of the overall condition of the equipment and furnishings of the community.
• Assists with Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Evacuation procedures.
• Assists with Housekeeping services
  
  

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
