SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for training and supervising the Building Services Team, reducing operational costs while maintaining high-quality services, monitoring departmental compliance with GCCR policies, and managing administrative duties. The Supervisor assists the Building Services Manager in organizing, planning, and supervising all operational functions. The role requires active participation in construction, renovation, and maintenance activities as needed.

SKILLS:
Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals; respond effectively to inquiries and complaints; write reports; and present information clearly. Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Proficiency in basic math, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions; ability to interpret instructions and apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense reasoning, define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions. Must maintain focus and organizational skills under disruptive conditions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Moderate to heavy physical activity required, including lifting objects up to 50 pounds, extended standing/walking, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces with protective gear. Exposure to hazards and environmental elements is possible.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in moderate noise environments, with increased noise on the casino floor, which is also a smoking environment. Tolerance to tobacco smoke is necessary.
