Job summary

Coshocton Chamber is hiring for an evening custodian responsible for cleaning and maintaining school facilities. The role requires cooperative work with staff and the public, following directions from the principal and head custodian, and maintaining a clean, attractive building.

You will develop and follow regular cleaning schedules and may assist with landscaping and snow removal as directed. Applicants must relate well to students, work independently, and complete required BCI/FBI checks.

• Other duties as assigned by a building administrator and/or the Director of Operations.
• Complete necessary BCI/FBI checks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain building interiors and facilities.
• Cooperate with staff, students, and the public.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and directions from principal and head custodian.
• Maintain positive relations with students and staff.
• Keep building looking attractive and well-kept.
• Develop and update daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Assist with exterior landscaping, mowing, and snow removal as directed.
• Create/maintain a substitute folder with daily schedules and supply locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by building administrator or Director of Operations.
• Complete required background checks (BCI/FBI).
