UNION R-XI SCHOOL DISTRICT is looking for a Building Custodian in Union, Missouri, responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students. Duties include cleaning classrooms, hallways, and restrooms, as well as shoveling snow and ensuring exit doors are secured.
The ideal candidate must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and be physically capable of lifting at least 80 pounds and interpreting cleaning instructions.
Per Board Policy GDBA: A maximum of ten years of related experience may be transferred from previous employment. The highest step a support staff employee may enter the district is at step 11 of the salary schedule.

Twelve months. Salary set by the Board.
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. Additionally, the employee may occasionally be required to push or lift up to 50 lbs as necessary for the safety and well-being of others. Lastly, this job requires the employee to have the vision ability to read handwritten or typed materials, and meet multiple demands from several people while interacting with other staff and the public.
